Introduce yourself:

I am a 21 year old Senior Marketing student at Pepperdine University, from the Bay Area, California. I wear many hats; such as Instagram influencer, magazine curator, photographer, actor, etc. After graduating, I hope to work in the fashion & entertainment industry doing marketing or creative direction. I also hope to continue to grow my magazine, HotHeaded Magazine.

How do you define success?

I define success as achieving your goals and aspirations; whether that be attaining a certain title, feeling fulfilled and accomplished, or getting to where you want to be in life. Success is the feeling that your hard work has paid off.

What are your goals/dreams and where do you see yourself in 5 years?

I have always been a super creative person; involved with photography, broadcasting, content creating, publishing, and other creative fields. In five years, I see myself working in the fashion or entertainment industry. I would love to be a campaign manager at Gucci or work on entertainment news like E! News.

What motivates you?

I have always been motivated by the ideal version of myself and my life; who I want to become, what I want to do, and where I want to be in life. When I have dreams and goals I am passionate about, I find it easy to work fervently towards them.

What is something that you do (a habit or daily practice) that you believe helps you achieve your goals or be productive?

There are many habits I abide by on the daily, but I think the most important is my mindset. It's crucial to success to develop a habit of being in a certain mindset. An elevated mindset in which you hold yourself to a higher standard. A willingness to go above and beyond what your peers are doing. If you want to be the top 1%, you have to work like the top 1%. You must be willing to put in that extra work, extra time, and extra effort.

Who is your inspiration and why?

I would have to say my career inspiration comes from Giuliana Rancic, because she's such a girl boss. She was one of the coolest female entertainment reporters, but has also been successful in so many of her endeavors. However, my overall inspiration comes from my parents. More specifically, my father. He is the epitome of hard work, determination, and drive. My dad grew up in war-torn Lebanon and came to the United States with only $37 in his pocket. He has worked immensely hard to give us everything we have today. He's the reason I have the work ethic I do.

 Life motto or favorite quote?

As Steve Jobs once said, "If you are working on something exciting that you really care about, you don't have to be pushed. The vision pulls you."

Anything else you want to share? Perhaps a project you’re currently working on or something valuable that you learned from an experience?

I am currently working on Issue 4 of HotHeaded Magazine. HotHeaded is a platform for creatives and influencers. I have previously featured many of my friends in the industry, such as, the Plain White T's, several Netflix stars, and well-known social media influencers. This next issue, we have a few big names lined up.
