Introduce yourself:

I’m 20 years old and I am from Darien, Connecticut. I am a senior at Pepperdine University majoring in Advertising and double minoring in Hispanic Studies and Multimedia Design.

After graduation, my goal is to use my Spanish fluency in the advertising world to connect with the Latino community.

How do you define success?

Success is rooted in growth. I consider any endeavor successful if I learned something throughout the process and grew as a person.

What are your goals/dreams and where do you see yourself in 5 years?

In five years my goal is to be happy and securely growing in my career.

What motivates you?

My desire to live life to the fullest motivates me to discover different parts of myself and how I can help the world around me.

What is something that you do (a habit or daily practice) that you believe helps you achieve your goals or be productive?

Every morning before I get out of bed, I swing my legs over the side of the mattress and take three sun breathes. This simple daily practice is super easy and helps me start my day on a centered and balanced note. I believe that yoga and meditation is crucial to success because a quiet mind helps you discover more about who you are and the world around you.

Who is your inspiration and why?

One of the people who inspires me the most is my older brother. He tries his hardest at everything he does. Life is too short to not pour your heart into the things that are important to you. My brother is a shining example of that concept!

 Life motto or favorite quote?

“Surrender to what is. Let go of what was. Have faith in what will be.” -Sonia Ricotti

Anything else you want to share?

I believe that the people who we surround ourselves with have a stronger impact on our growth than we realize. So, I actively try to surround myself with likeminded people who are ambitious,  independent, creative and kind.
