1. Introduce yourself:
I’m from Chengdu, China, a city that has more than 2000 years of history and was famous for its Giant Panda Breeding Research Base. I go to school at Pepperdine University and am about to become a senior next semester! I am an Integrated Marketing Communications major and I currently plan on furthering my study in graduate school with a communication focus. I might also take some internships before that, just to learn more about the communication field and gain experience. My career aspiration is in the advertising world. I want to work with clients and help them build creative and transformative projects that have a positive influence on the world. I really want to work in an advertising agency.
2. How do you define success?
Success to me is to have the freedom to choose the job I want, and to enjoy the life I’m living.
3. What are your goals/dreams and where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Goal: work in an advertising agency.
5 years: So far, I think I would go into graduate school and continue my study.
4. What is something that motivates you?
People around me always motivate me! (like you) Pepperdine is a community full of inspiring and motivating people, and being near them encourages me to better myself and make a positive impact on others.

5. What is something that you do (a habit or daily practice) that you believe helps you achieve your goals or be productive?
Nice question! I would push myself to work out/to move my body so that I can have good energy while working. I also like to walk around in nature and enjoy the sun a little bit when I’m taking a break; it is a good way for me to release my stress.

6. Who is your inspiration?
My mom! She is always learning and growing, and is very persistent in pursuing her career. She is also a very resilient woman – never gives up on her goals!
