"When opportunities are not given to you, you gotta find them. I love knowing that there are so many opportunities out there even if I do not see them yet. I strive each day to improve areas in my life and I know that if I keep doing that I will see the opportunities I need to reach my goals."

Introduce yourself

I am a 24 year-old recent Business major college graduate at Pepperdine University. I work as a Business Analyst at Harbor Freight Tools. Besides becoming better at my job, learning new skills and seeking opportunities of growth, my current plan is to build capital and learn more each day about the needs of our society so that, when the time is right, I will be ready to start the business of my dreams—a company that makes the world a better place for all of us.

How do you define success?

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ and making a positive impact in this world.

What are your goals/dreams and where do you see yourself in 5 years?

My goal is to become a successful business entrepreneur. In 5 years, I see myself as a person who has built a lot of capital and has experienced a sufficient degree of failure to be able to start the business of my dreams. I would be even happier if these would come sooner, but I do believe that I need at least 5 years to grow and learn before entering the real, competitive entrepreneurial world.

What is something that motivates you?

There are two things that motivate me:

  1. Entrepreneurs’ minds: I like how they think. I believe that surrounding yourself with people who have similar goals and ambition to yours is very important. Those minds and their actions can fuel your hunger to reach your goals and they can be a huge emotional and inspirational help when you are struggling the most.

  2. Opportunities: When opportunities are not given to you, you gotta find them. I love knowing that there are so many opportunities out there even if I do not see them yet. I strive each day to improve different areas in my life and I know that if I keep doing that I will see the opportunities—like a better job or pay, a learning experience, or anything— that I need to reach my goals.

What is something that you do (a habit or daily practice) that you believe helps you achieve your goals or be productive?

I never say no to a learning opportunity. At work, even if a learning opportunity would make my schedule heftier or my job harder, I will always take it.

Who is your inspiration?

I do not have a specific person to point out but what inspires me are all those successful entrepreneurs that are making this place a better world.

Life motto or favorite quote?

Anything is possible, as long as you really want it.

Anything else you want to share? Perhaps a project you’re currently working on or something valuable that you learned from an experience?

I am still learning that failure is good, as long as you do not commit the same mistake again. I’d rather fail than not taking a chance at it.
